Hola, bienvenido!
At Middleforth we believe that MFL should foster pupils’ curiosity and deepen their understanding of other languages around the world. We offer Spanish across the whole school but KS2 take part in weekly structured classes, which are engaging, challenging and fun (divertido). As a school we use Language Angels to support leaners on their lingustic journeys.
In addition, to learning language basics, the children also learn about Spanish culture and other Spanish speaking countries. Each year group with learn about Christmas, Easter and one other significant celebration or festival like "La Tomatina" the Tomato throwing festival!
The children also have access to the Language Angels app to further their learning learning skills at home- Please see your child's class teacher for their login details.
